Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes from Seinfeld season four. She played a cook named Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. Then in the 90s, Barone was a regular in the show Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone also played her wife, Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friendsthe first episode. Jane Sibbett was her replacement after Barone left Friends for a job that demanded longer time. She starred in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the first year (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. Barone was co-starring with Daddio in 2000. Her other TV credits include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004, Barone was the recipient of the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her work in The feature film One Last Ride. The following year, three years after The War at Home ended it's running time, Barone began her recurring role for the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
