Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his character on the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. His interest in acting began when he was in college. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active in film and TV and on stage, his appearances on the small screen were what earned him popularity. The actor is able to portray characters of both the good and bad aspects in the law enforcement system. He has the ability to attract the attention of his audience effortlessly. He played the part of a serial killer on his first television series project but later went on to portray the character as an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on the smaller screen, he's won many times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards. His signature striking blue eyes that are said to make his look attractive. They have helped to portray the rough characters in an enthralling style. The year 2006 was the last time he appeared in the People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
