LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984 is an American professional basket ball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). He is known as King James and is considered to be among the greatest basketball players of all time. James is the winner of 4 NBA titles. He has four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic gold medals. James is the holder of the most number of points scored in the post-season, second best overall career score and 7th highest number of career assists. This is a record for the NBA for him to be an NBA All-Star for 18 years. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever before, with eight of them in a row from 2011 to 2018. In 2018 He was also picked to be on The NBA 75th Anniversary team. James has been chosen for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player to have scored 10,000+ points, rebounds, and assists in his career in 2022. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. The school was recognized by the national press as the next NBA superstar. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly established himself as one of the top league players and was awarded the NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure an award in Cleveland and then left Cleveland with the status of a "free agent" in 2010. This decision was made by the television show The Decision.
