LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely thought of as the best athlete of all time and has often is compared with Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James won two Olympic golds and four NBA titles. James is second in highest number of career goals, and the seventh most assists. James has been chosen as an NBA All Star 18 times. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. James has also been selected to The NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times in succession between the years 2011-2018; He was also picked to join The NBA 75th Anniversary team. In 2021 James was selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first athlete of NBA history to score 10,000 or more career points rebounds and assists. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town from Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a potential NBA star. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004, he was named NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly became one of league's top players and was awarded the NBA MVP in both the years 2009 and the year 2010. James signed a free-agent contract in 2010 after failing to earn championships in Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent decisions in the history of sports.
