LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who plays with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known for his role as King James and is considered to be one of the best basketball players ever. James was awarded two Olympic gold medals as well as four NBA championships. James has the highest points during playoffs and has the second most career points and is the seventh player with the most assists in his career. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was picked to the NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He was the third player to participate in NBA Finals. Eight of the games were in consecutive order from 2011 through the year 2018. James was selected as a part of the NHL75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became only the third NBA player ever to score more than 10,000 career points. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town from Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media for his potential as an NBA star. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, he soon established himself as one of the league's premier players winning his NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010. James went free agency in 2010 after failing to win championships with Cleveland. He made the decision to leave Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent decisions in the history of sports.
